Most institutions have constructed and sustained security policies and infrastructure based on traditional border security models. However, it is constantly argued that this perspective cannot actively respond to rapidly changing work environments and intelligent security threats (APT attacks, ransomware, etc.).
In 2020, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) unveiled the “SP 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)” that presents zero trust standards, and the Biden administration issued an executive order to each department to establish a zero trust strategy by 2024.
In Korea, the schedule for implementing policies related to the new security system zero trust has been announced by 2025 under the digital platform government policy. In addition, the Ministry of Science and ICT Zero Trust Guidelines 1.0 was published in July 2023, and based on this, the institutional and technical direction of zero trust security suitable for the domestic environment is being established.
Accordingly, SGA Solutions intends to present a SGA ZTA solution strategy based on the Ministry of Science and ICT Zero Trust Guidelines 1.0, and to present a step-by-step zero trust approach and introduction strategy.
